Esther Cortez Lorenzana Ventura, CA Esther Cortez Lorenzana - Age 53, of Ventura, was surrounded by loving family as she passed away on Friday, April 6th, 2012. Esther was born January 24th, 1959 to parents Antonio & Amalia Cortez. Esther had mainly lived in Ventura County, having been brought up in Santa Paula, before moving to Oxnard & then Ventura. For those who knew Esther, she was capable of befriending just about anybody she met - always with an open heart, and kind words. She had a great sense of humor with a hearty laugh that was certain to get everyone else in good spirits. She will be deeply missed by her family & friends. Esther is survived by her husband Albert Carl Lorenzana and son Michael Anthony Lorenzana of Ventura. Esther was the youngest of her siblings and is survived by sisters; Lydia Lopez, Sally Franco, Rachel Ramirez and brothers; Danny Cortez & Richard Cortez. She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio & Amalia Cortez, along with sisters Alice Andrade & Gloria Madueno, as well as brother Anotnio 'Tony' Cortez.
