Elvira Limon

Our beloved Elvira Fuentes Limon, age 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Mothers Day May  14, 2023. She was born November 13, 1931 in Guanajuato, Mexico to José Guadalupe Fuentes  and Andrea Garcia. She married Octavio Limon in 1953 who preceded her in death in 1999.

A master needle worker, seamstress and crafter, she was always working on projects for family members, especially the babies. She enjoyed crochet, embroidery, and sewing. She managed to make beautiful handcrafted items while simultaneously working full time and successfully raising five rambunctious children. 

For many years Elvira worked as a seamstress for various lingerie companies in Santa Paula. 

She enjoyed visitors and was a gifted cook. Her Mexican cooking was a delicious experience family and friends enjoyed. 

Elvira is survived by her sister María Antonia de Jesús Fuentes García, sons Jesus, Octavio Jr. and his wife Rosa, Francisco, Ricardo (which we lost last September) daughter Lupe and her husband Carlos Melero

Grandchildren Scooter (Frank), Adriana, Andrea, Corey, Ariana, Riane, Alejandra, Carlos, Veronica, Angelina, five great grandchildren Ravyn, Ethan, Dylan, Brooklyn, Jack and numerous nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
