Eloise Rivera Romo
Eloise passed away peacefully on December 21, 2015 as her family gathered at her bedside to be there for her as she left us to be with the Lord. Eloise was born in Corona, Ca on August 20, 1930 to Guadalupe and Dolores Rivera. At age 10, Eloise and her family moved to Moorpark where she later met her husband Ruben Romo and soon after got married to him on January 3, 1954 and has been a resident of Moorpark ever since.
Eloise is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ruben Romo, her sister Lupe Rivera, and her daughters, Christine Lopez, Gloria Sepulveda and Liza Oviedo. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren whom she all loved and cared for very much.
She was a longtime homemaker who loved spending her time cooking for her family and telling her grandchildren stories of her childhood and cracking jokes about her past. Eloise will always be remembered for the love she had for Mexican music. She also enjoyed watching the Dodger games and especially loved watching her Mexican Novelas. She was truly the definition of a strong woman and definitely left each one of her daughters and grandchildren with a piece of her strength to keep on going even when times get tough.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Dolores Rivera, her brothers, Amador, Alfonso, Pete, Louie, and Salvador Rivera, sisters, Angie Flores and Vera Renteria, as well as her beloved son Ralph Romo and infant daughter Ruby Romo.
Eloise will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

“God looked around his garden and found an empty space, then He looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face, He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest, Gods garden must be beautiful, for he only takes the best…”
