Elizabeth M Noble of Camarillo, CA at the age of 97, passed peacefully in hospice care in Moorpark, CA on Wednesday, October 17, at 8pm after a brief illness. She was at a Camarillo board and care facility for 2 and a half years, and resided in Leisure Village for 10 years before that. Elizabeth was born in Coldwater, KS in 1920, the daughter of Charles Dunn and Wynona Long. Raised on a farm, the oldest of 3 surviving sisters, Esther, Mary Lou and Phyllis, and 1 brother John. Her other brother, Elvin preceded her. After Fowler High School class of 1939 she studied business then left for California. She worked as a bookkeeper, married Frank Noble, and had one son, Dennis Noble. She worked some as a public school cafeteria manager till she could no longer suffer the inefficiency. Retired in 1968, She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, made many friends in North Hollywood and Canyon Country surviving most of them in her long life. She enjoyed making Sunday breakfast after Church and Holiday dinners with friends and relatives, occasional trips to Laughlin, Vegas, and the races, and later, visits by her daughter in-law, Maggie, and granddaughter, Cecilia. Now she joins many friends and loved ones, and will be loved and remembered her son, daughter in-law granddaughter and her friends and relatives.
