Born July 23, 1925 in Canonsburg, PA.
Resided the majority of the last 10 years with her grandson, Christopher Worstell, wife Jennifer and their children, Courtney, Dakota and Derek in Moorpark, CA, and most recently with daughters, Patricia Morrow (husband Charles) and Janette Amatangelo (husband Raymond) and their daughter, Alicia also in Moorpark, and then Golden Acres in Simi Valley.
Elizabeth attended Penn Commercial College and worked at WJPA Radio where she met Edward who was a Navy Recruiter at that time (ultimately retired Navy), and married on June 4, 1948. Together they started the Cable TV Company in Canonsburg where they resided until their retirement and move to Eighty Four, PA with winters spent in Fort Myers, FL. Following Edward’s passing in 1987, Elizabeth was able to continue spending additional winters in Florida thanks to a dear friend, Rowene Loffert. She also remained active in Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church, did volunteer work at Canonsburg Hospital, was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, and walking with friends.
Elizabeth’s life was dedicated to her family. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Cheryl, grandsons, Jim (wife Kerry) and Chuck (wife Yolanda), 9 great grandchildren, her brother, Isaac Leon (wife Patricia) and her sister, Mary Solomon (husband Michael) and their children/grandchildren, as well as children/grandchildren of her sister, Kay Cavasinni (husband Jiggs), both deceased.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude for the tender loving care provided by TLC Hospice of Moorpark and Golden Acres in Simi Valley (who became like family to us).
A memorial service will be held at Perez Family Funeral Home in Moorpark on Sunday, March 16 at 1PM. Plans are undetermined at this time for an additional service to be held in PA at a later date.
