Eduardo “Sunny” Flores

Our beloved father Eduardo Flores passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday April 12, 2025, at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Lilia Flores and children Brenda Flores, Eduardo “Lalo” Flores (Christina Fernandez), Cinthia Flores (Ryan McAulay) and grandchildren Ivan Castillo, Zariah Castillo, Cinnae Castillo, Declan McAulay, and Lilly McAulay.

He was born in Tulare, California on June 1, 1941, to Augustina Almada and Fausto Flores. He spent his early childhood years in Goleta and Los Angeles California. The last 50 years of his adult life he resided in Moorpark California.

His family and friends will remember him for his passion for truck driving, classic cars, and his full of life joker personality. He loved singing, dancing, and 50’s Rock ‘n’ Roll music. Most importantly he will be remembered for the unconditional love he had for his wife, children and grandchildren.

The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo, California from 3-9pm. Rosary will be at 6pm. The funeral service will be held the following day Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Saint Rose of Lima in Simi Valley,California at noon. Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
