Dolores Jacquelyn Evrist Newbury Park, CA 81 years old, died January 18, 2013 Born October 4, 1931, Venice, CA Parents Everett and Myrtle Shea Spouse & Date of marriage, Raymond Evrist, April 27, 1956 Survived by: husband - Raymond Evrist children - sons Dale, Tim, Brian Evrist; daughter Rosie Bates grandchildren - Janelle Kellums, Joel, Ryan, Andrew and Janessa Evrist Brianna Farias-Lofgren, Stephen Weber, Nicole Bilera, Danny Bates and many great grandchildren! From a young age, Dodie was a gifted pianist and organist. She led many worship services throughout her life and had a great love for music. Some of her favorite things to do were trips to Big Bear Lake and camping at Lake Cachuma. Another activity she loved were trips to Disneyland, especially with her kids and grandchildren. And let's not forget how much she loved Christmas with her family and friends. She always has been a loving, compassionate and generous woman of God. Dodie enjoyed every opportunity she had to share the gospel and her love for Jesus. We all know that she is before her Savior singing and praising Him with all her might. You are greatly missed.
