Debbie was born Oct. 28, 1962 in Oxnard and was a lifelong resident of Oxnard. Debbie passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 16, 2010.
Debbie was proud of her Native American Heritage, Northern Cheyenne Tribe. Debra was employed by Oxnard Union High School District, and enjoyed her job as a campus supervisor. "Jacket 14." She will be deeply missed by her Oxnard High School Yellow Jacket Family.
First and foremost, Debbie cared for her parents, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Debbie loved music and dancing, she was known for her radiant smile and friendly personality.
Debbie is survived by her parents, Sonny and Jennie Flores; brother, Ernie (Husky) Flores; five children: Dolores Beas (Fernando), Matthew, Monet, Debra, Nathan Lopez; five grandchildren: Daniel (Boo boo), Cheyenna, Fernando (Vito), Malaki (baby Sonny), and Nevaeh; nephews, Steven and Torrey; niece, Ashlee; and companion, Michael Morales.
Debbie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, she will never be forgotten, and her memory will live in our hearts.
A visitation for Debbie will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, with the rosary beginning at 7 p.m., located at The Perez Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo, 983-3457. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, located at St. Anthony's church, 2511 S. C. Street in Oxnard. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the "Debra Flores Memorial Fund" at any Bank Of America location by referencing the South Oxnard, California Banking Center, Branch #567.
