David Garcia took his last breath on January 20th with the company of his family, friends and most importantly his children by his side. He was born December 5th 1973 and was raised in Santa Paula along side his twin brother Danny, and brothers Alex, Mario and Manuel along with sisters Jessica, Cynthia and Presilla. David loved reading from the Bible, making people laugh and spending time with his loved ones, but nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his 12 children. A man who embraced each baby as they came with love and pride, and spoke about them as his prized possessions. David’s children were HIS achievements in life. David wasn’t just a father but a hero, a protector and a loving best friend to all his kids. He had a smile that could light up a room and a sense of humor unmatched by any. He was a fighter not just towards the end of his life or when he took his last breath…but in mind, body and spirit. A trait he left behind for his children to carry on with. A trait for his sons to remain strong, and to be the men that he would be proud of. A trait for his daughters to stay resilient when he can’t be there to protect them but to also make space for love, joy and happiness. He will forever be missed and will forever be in our hearts. The rooms will feel quieter. The mornings be still. The earth less green. His pain is gone. There will be no more silent aches, early morning wakes, long work days. Rest well David “Rambo” Garcia, no one deserves it more than you.
