Daniel Lee Haldeman

Daniel Lee Haldeman was born on July 16, 1962, in Ventura, California, to Jack and Rosemary Haldeman. He passed away on December 19th, 2013. The youngest of 3 children, Dan "Beave" is survived by his sister, Donna Rodriguez of Moorpark, California, and his brother, Jim Haldeman, of Knoxville, Tennessee. Dan was a lifelong resident of Camarillo who remained close to many childhood friends. He had a passion for flying which he leveraged into a career as an aviation insurance underwriter. He was a licensed pilot who enjoyed flying locally. Dan loved the outdoors and was an avid mountain biker and skier. He took frequent bike rides in the local mountains and loved taking summer and winter trips to bike and ski in Mammoth Lakes with friends. He also loved to vacation and spent time every year in Maui. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014, at 2:00pm at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park to be followed by a graveside service. A reception to celebrate his life will follow at the residence of his sister in Moorpark.
