Cynthia "Cindy" M. Lopez
On October 24, 2015 our beloved mother Cynthia, 59, of Moorpark, California passed away. She was born on December 18, 1955 in Simi Valley, California to Gil and Hortencia Lopez. She was raised in Moorpark making her a life long resident of Ventura County. She is survived by her sons, Michael Lopez, Robert Melgoza (Bobby), Christopher Decampo (Cheeks), daughter Selina Lopez, and her grand-babies Adrian, Makayla, Mia, and Josiah (JoJo). Cynthia was best known for her cooking and cleaning. There was nothing she couldn't make and no floor she couldn't clean. She enjoyed her traditional Sundays with the family where she would watch her favorite team, The Denver Broncos. Cynthia also loved spending quality time with her grand-babies. Cynthia spent a few years living in Las Vegas, Nevada, which was her second home. Here she enjoyed shopping at her favorite thrift stores (Goodwill and Savers), going out to breakfast with her kids, and gambling from time to time. Cynthia always made sure she put her children and grand-babies first making her an incredible provider to her family. She found joy in being a grandma and knowing her family was taken care of. Cynthia always made people laugh with her nick names she gave relatives, friends, and even family pets. Cynthia's famous one liners made her even more special. She was unique in the way she spoke and in the funny things she would say or do. Cynthia was truly an amazing woman but most importantly, an amazing mother to not only her own, but her sister Ruth's kids. She will be greatly missed in the community and will forever be with us all in our hearts.
