Cruz Martinez Medina

Cruz went to be with our Lord on Saturday November 29, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Cruz was born in El Paso, Texas on June 11, 1945. When he was 3 years old his family moved to Limoneira where his father worked. He went to school at Olivelands. Briggs and Santa Paula High School, where he played multiple sports and graduated in 1963. Cruz worked at Talley's for 42 years as a skilled machinist. Eventually Cruz met his wife Susan and they had a wonderful life with their boys. They ended up being very happy. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Ursula Medina,brother Joe Medina Jr. and grandson Vicente Medina. Cruz leaves behind his wife Susan, children Anthony (Jessica), Mathew (Yesenia),Nick Coronado,Cruz Jr. (Anna), Yvonne (Stacey), Natalie (GIlbert), Christina, 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 4 sisters and numerous nephews and nieces. Thank you to our neighbors Sandy Mayorga and Mike Legan for bringing us food, help and support. A special thank you to Rick and Irene Fisk for their support. Thank you to Santa Clara Vally Hospice and TLC Hospice for all your assistance. The viewing and rosary will be held at The Perez Family Funeral Home on Tuesday December 9th, from 5-7pm located in Camarillo 1347 Del Norte Rd. Funeral mass will be held at St. Sebastian Church on December 11th at 10:30am with burial to follow at Pierce Brothers Cemetery.
