Connie Hays

Cornelius “Connie” Hays Jr. Camarillo, CA Cornelius “Connie” Hays Jr passed away at home, surrounded by family on May 13th 2011. He was born on September 27, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Cornelius Hays Sr. and Catherine Lemon Hays. He joined the Air force right out of High school on September 27, 1954. He became a private pilot and flew for 25+ years, and he enjoyed the freedom of the skies and continued his flying with model airplane's He worked in the Aerospace Industry for 45 years, as an electrical engineer. He was a member of American Legion Post 741 for 30+ years. He is survived by his wife Beverly Hays of 57 years, and a daughter, Cathy Hays, a son David Hays (wife Yvette Hays), and 3 grandchildren, Melissa Mangan, Brandon Hays, and Addison Hays. Celebration of life will be held at Perez Family Funeral Home 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo California, (805) 484-6365 on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 6 P.M.
