Cleo Cooper

Cleo moved to Vista, California with her family in Dec 1960 where she made her home and raised her children till 2004 when she moved to Camarillo, California to be closer to family. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Vista and many charitable animal organizations. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Victoria Cooper-Lane and Douglas Lane of Malibu, California; son, William (Bill) Cooper of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Kathi Dougherty-Eckel of Dallas, Texas; sister, Victoria Dougherty-Lebeau of Arlington, Texas. Wendi Jean Dehnert-Peterson of Eden Prarie, Minnesota, sister, Kristi Lyn Dehnert-Wessels of Vista, California; sister, Kari Sue Dehnert-Esplin of Rexburg, Idaho. Jason Coughlin of Valley Village, California; and brother, Grant Coughlin of Malibu, California. She also leaves behind seventeen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husbands, Chester O’Connor & William Cooper; and her daughter Veronica O’Connor-Dehnert. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 30th at 1:30 PM at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Camarillo, California.
