Catalino Galvan “El Cato” Lozano (1945- 2011) Catalino was born on May 1, 1945 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Parents Guadalupe and Seferina Galvan Lozano. He was raised in a small town of El Refugio in Guanajuato, Mexico with his six siblings Antonio, Elias, Luis, Rosa, Blanca and Reina. On June 26, 1965 he married his soul mate Aurelia Galvan Garcia in Purisima de Bustos, Guanajuato, Mexico . Together they raised Five children. He was a devoted husband and father and was respected by everybody that knew him. He came to California in 1972 and lived in Moorpark for many years. His work skills varied from Commercial, Industrial and Farming. He worked many years at S&K Chicken Farms in Moorpark CA. His favorite hobby was cooking specialty Mexican type foods. His Carnitas were very popular in the Spanish Community. He enjoyed music, dancing , telling old stories about his personal life experiences and family gatherings. His favorite song was “Caminos De Guanajuato” by Jose Alfredo Jimenez. He is survived by his beloved wife Aurelia , five children, Jaime, Jose Alfredo, Rogelio, Ofelia and Maria de Lourdes and thirteen grandchildren, Evelyn, Briana, Matthew James, Christian Roy, Alexus, Randy, Crystal, Karina, Cassandra, Kyhannah “Mi Muchachita”, Cristobal “El Pelon”, Kyle and Orlando Rey. His sisters, Rosa, Blanca and Reina. Other members of the family, Patricia and Hilda (daughter in laws) and Helmutt (son in law). Creció en el pueblo del Refugio en Guanajuato con sus seis hermanos Antonio, Elías, Luis, Rosa, Blanca, y Reina. El 26 de Junio de 1965 se caso son su alma gemela Aurelia Galvan García en Purísima de Bustos, Guanajuato. Juntos tuvieron cinco hijos. Era un esposo y padre devoto y era respetado por todos aquellos que lo conocían. Vino a California en 1972 y vivió en Moorpark por muchos años. Sus habilidades incluían lo comercial, industrial, y el cultivo. Trabajo por muchos años en el S&K Rancho de Gallinas en Moorpark, CA. Su pasatiempo favorito era el cocinar comida Mexicana. Sus carnitas eran muy popular en la comunidad. Le gustaba la música, bailar, y contar viejas historias de sus experiencias en la vida y convivencias familiares. Su canción favorita era “Caminos de Guanajuato” de José Alfredo Jiménez. Lo sobrevive su esposa querida Aurelia, sus cinco hijos, Jaime, José Alfredo, Rogelio. Ofelia, y María de Lourdes y trece nietos, Evelyn, Briana, Matthew James, Christian Roy, Alexus, Randy, Crystal, Karina, Cassandra, Kyhannah “Mi Muchachita”, Cristobal “El Pelón”, Kyle, y Orlando Rey.
