It is with great sadness that the Perez Family Funeral Home announces the passing of our Father & Grandfather, Carlos Valdivia 88 of Moorpark.
He passed away at his home in Moorpark on April 26, 2010 with his family by his side. Carlos was born November 16, 1921 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Prospero & Dolores Valdivia.
Our grandfather was a very good man. He worked hard all his life to take care of his family and live the “American Dream”.
He would drop by once a week to visit his family at the funeral home and we enjoyed his visit. He was such a proud man.
Grandpa enjoyed doing his puzzles, watching his favorite programs, playing cards, traveling, watching the DODGERS!!!, and especially spending time with all his grandchildren. When we would leave he always gave us a kiss even in our older years.
Grandpa now joins his beloved wife Esther in heaven. For the last 8 years, there was never a week that went by that he did not take her flowers to the cemetery. He longed to be with her.
He is survived by his daughter Rosy (husband Rudy) Perez, son Charlie Valdivia, grandchildren Rudy Perez Jr., Renee (Johnny) Perez Zaragoza , & Robert (Pauline) Perez. He also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren (1 great-great on the way)
