Beverly Ann Banner

Beverly Ann Banner, 56, beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, in Thousand Oaks after a tragic fall. A Camarillo native and a lifelong resident of Ventura County, Beverly was a fifth generation Californian. She was born in Oxnard on April 2, 1956, and graduated in 1974 from Adolfo Camarillo High School. She attended Moorpark Junior College and later graduated from business school in Ventura. Beverly was an accomplished artist and worked for many years at Kinko's designing letterhead, business cards and brochures. She also painted incredible oil paintings which hang in many of her friends' and families' homes. She spent her last years working as a courtesy clerk at Vons where her infectious laughter filled the store. She lived a full, but too short, life. She was gorgeous, funny, caring, loving, compassionate, and her laughter and humor were a constant presence in her life. Beverly touched many lives with her kind heart and generous spirit. She loved all animals and rarely was without her beloved dogs. Her accomplishments were many, but her pride and joy were her children, Kyle and Kelsey. She loved them beyond measure. Her strong belief in God was also a passion in Beverly's life. She leaves behind her children, Kyle and Kelsey Cosner; stepdaughter, Christy Cosner; stepgrandchildren, Isaac and Denae; and her dogs, Bailey and Sadie. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 14, at the St. Mary Magdalen Chapel in Camarillo. Our hearts break at her unexpected passing. She will be forever missed.
