Benito Benavides

Benito (Ben) Benavides born November 28, 1941 passed away peacefully on September 7, 2015. He was born in Corona, CA to Jesus & Bertha Benavides. Ben lived his life as an avid truck driver working for several companies over the course of his years. Driving trucks gave him great fulfillment & tenacity for life. In his time outside of his driving, he loved spending time with his family, enjoying good movies & eating great food. His famous line was always "don't cheat your stomach". He was preceded in death by his father & mother. He has survived by his children, Jesus Benavides, Debbie Houston, Yvonne Armas (Art) & Tina Benavides (Richie); numerous grandchildren; siblings Oscar Benavides, Connie Elkins, Yolanda Duran, Margaret Gonzales & Bobby Sausedo; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loved ones & friends. As well as the immense love, friendship & support of Susan Benavides. My Dad touched my heart in an amazing way, his words of wisdom & love will be greatly missed. Have a good time in heaven Grandpa, we are so lucky to have a new angel to look after us. We love you...Carissa & Cassie. In lieu of funeral services, a celebration of life will take place at a later time.
