Arthur Herrera

Arthur James Herrera, 53 years of age, passed Saturday,February 4th, 2023, at Saint John’s Hospital of Camarillo. He was best known to his family and friends as Archie. Surrounded by his children, siblings, and close family he went to join his Dad and our Lord in the kingdom of heaven.

Archie was born December 28th, 1969, and was one of eight siblings. Archie was a devoted and loving brother, son, friend,and Dad. He is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Katherine, and Jadelyn Herrera and his three grandchildren, Faith, Nadia, and Benjamin. His siblings, Ruben Jr. Herrera, Angelica Garcia, Maria Klassen, Nicholas Herrera, Jessica Spells, Gloria Cortez, Eugenia Herrera, his Aunt CeceliaEnriquez, and his Grandparents George and Nellie Enriquez.

Archie was a gentle and loving soul; would make you laugh even on your toughest days. We will never forget that Archiewould make it a point to tell you as often as he could, “I Love You!” He loved deeply and was loved by his family and friends.He enjoyed watching his girls play sports during their childhood years, was their biggest fan, and when given the opportunity, Coached. 

An avid animal lover from childhood to adult life. Archie worked as a safety and K9 consultant for many years. He received great pleasure watching dogs and their owners thrive. Archie loved his fur babies, Dusty and his present dog Rocky. Archie was in his element, very content when he was taking long car drives with his dogs, hiking and on occasion visiting local businesses with Rocky to bring joy and comfort to others.
