Arline met her future husband Greg in September of 1959. Engaged in December of 1959, the two were married on March 20th !960. Arline loved everything Japanese, and even studied the Japanese Language in College. Many years later Arline and her Family were host, on several occasions, to Japanese exchange students. Arline continued written correspondence with her Japanese students for decades and followed them as they wed and had their own children. Regretfully, due to Arline's declining health, she was unable to fulfill her dream of traveling to Japan. Arline was not only a early entertainer, and lover of everything Japanese, she was also a talented artist. she was talented with pen and ink as she was with water water colors., oils and charcoal. She and her husband Greg loved fine dining and visiting with their friends of many years. Arline was quick to laughter! Once started laughing, it was impossible not to join Arline laughing until your sides ached and tears fell from your eyes. But most notable of all, Arline was optimistic to the end! She will be missed and always loved!
