(This will broadcast at 10:00am on Saturday, Nov 6, 2010) Antonio “Tony” Orta Polo passes away into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 30, 2010. Tony was long time residend of Oxnard. Born in Morelia, Michoacan Mexico to Antonio Polo and Eugenia Orta Polo on March 21, 1959. Tony attended curren Elementary, Haydock jr. high and Oxnard High School. Growing up tony was well known as a boxer and boxing fan. He worked out at local gyms and had often boxed at local events. As, an adult tony accelerated as a custom car painter. Tony was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, godfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Tony always considered himself to be blessed to have a loving family and was close to his children. He is survived by his mother Eugenia Polo, sisters, Martha and Gina polo, brothers Alex and Martin Polo. His children Little Tony, Regina, Michael and his little princess Jasmin Polo, nephews Ronnie Apodaca and Raymond Barrera. Tony was especially proud of his grandchildren, Steven Jr.; Andrew; Michael Jr.; Majesta Bell; Dejaih; Adam; Josiah; Celest and unborn Baby Johnny. Tony was proceeded in death by his father Antonio Polo. Tony will be will always be remembered for his love and caring personality and the kind and big hearted person he was. He lived everyday as it was his last and never worried about what others thought of him. He lived by the saying “I am who I am” and stuck by it. He will always be remembered as a “Jokester” the life of the party with his overwhelming sense of humor and his contagious laughter. On behalf of our father we would like to send a special thank you to one of his closest friends Mike Soto for all his love and support which is greatly appreciated. As our dad would say “that’s my true homie”. Thank you. Visitation is planned from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Friday November 5, 2010 at First Assembly of God, 523 N. Fifth Street, Port Hueneme. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 6, 2010 at Perez Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo, with burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard.
