Anne-Marie Bailey passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 54 at home on March 1st, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 26, 1957 in Halle, Belgium to Maria Decocker and Gustave Tordeur. Anne-Marie was raised by a loving family who enjoyed each other’s company and fellowship.
She was touched by her family’s experience in World War II, which included, evacuation from the Germans, her Mother’s experience in a German Labor Camp, her Father leaving for Paris and he found the German’s were there before him and he had return back to Belgium. Comparing the stress’s of living in wartime Belgium and my Mother’s life in wartime Arizona.
After meeting via International Pen Pal, She married her pen pal sweetheart: James Bailey on November 24, 1989. They have 2 wonderful sons: Dale and Westley. She was a very loving and devoted mother who loved being a teacher’s Aid helping Special Needs Children. Anne-Marie enjoyed being a homemaker, especially sewing, cleaning and cross stitching. But what she enjoyed most was spending time having fun with her family, especially her two precious sons.
Anne-Marie loved to travel with her Mother to Italy, Florida, and California. She especially enjoyed the trip she and Jim took to Paris before they were married

Anne-Marie was preceded in death by both her parents, Maria and Gustave.
She leaves behind her loving and devoted family: Her husband James Bailey and their 2 sons: Dale and Westley.
She is also survived by her sister Christine, her husband Eddy and son Sebastian, her sister Bernadette, her husband Luc, ex-husband Danny and her sons, Sammy and Douglas, her brother Luc, his wife Jean and his sons Dan and Bruce.
