Angelique De Haro

d. March 14, 2015

Angelique Elvira De Haro passed away March 14, 2015. Born on October 5, 1993 in Oxnard, CA to Juan De Haro and Elizabeth Ramirez De Haro, Angelique was a smiling angel right from the start. Angelique had a way of connecting with everyone in her family and she was happiest when she was spending time with them. Angelique was the ‘Bidi Bidi’ to her mom’s ‘Bom Bom’, and they were inseparable. She was ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’ and she loved that he called her ‘Reina’. She treasured her ‘sister time’ and truly enjoyed spoiling her younger brother. She loved spending quality time with her nieces and nephews and sharing new experiences with them; and she was always a favorite of her younger cousins who adored her. Angelique graduated in 2011 from Pacifica High School where she ran track. She volunteered in the Our Lady of Guadalupe youth group as a Religious Education teacher’s aide for three years. She attended both Oxnard and Ventura College and aspired to be a dental hygienist. She loved to read and was a self-proclaimed ‘bookworm’. When she wasn’t working or reading, you could find her organizing a friendly, but competitive, game of soccer with all of her cousins. Angelique loved life, and her laugh was contagious. She enjoyed spending time with her friends watching movies, going to the pool or beach, singing to Selena, blasting her Country and Banda music or just hanging out. She was an avid Raider fan. Angelique was also a hair and make-up fashionista and always took pride in looking her best. She will always be remembered for her positive attitude and living by her mottos: ‘Family First’, ‘Friends Forever’, ‘Live with No Regrets’, ‘Be 100% Real’ and ‘Love Should Never be a Secret’. Angelique is survived by her sisters Darlene (Joe) Clarke and Irene Hernandez, her brother Juan De Haro, her nieces and nephews, Kirsten, Joey, Alyssa and Johnny, her grandmother Audelia De Haro, her grandfather Luis Ramirez and many loving family members and friends. She joins her Grandmother Alice Ramirez as a smiling angel in Heaven.
