Angela Alongi Catalano of Camarillo, California passed away peacefully in her home on April 16, 2018. She was 93. Angela was born in Rockford, Illinois and graduated from Muldoon High School. She married Frank (Perk) Catalano, the love of her life, on February 24th, 1946, in Rockford, Illinois. They moved to California in 1985.
Known for her generosity, kindness, humor, faith and love for others. She often showed her love by baking cookies, cooking pasta and pizza and feeding others. Angel had many interests throughout her life including volunteering, golfing, dancing, fashion, and cooking. She spread joy and laughter wherever she went.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and a great friend to everyone she met. Survivors include children, Anthony (Linda) Catalano, John Catalano, Jeanine Catalano (Phil Gough), Frank (Darby) Catalano and Peter (Erin) Catalano; ten grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Maria; husband, Frank; sisters, Rose, Mary, Nell and Marian; and brothers, Frank, Mello, and Paul. Memorials may be made to Poor Clares Monastery in Rockford or Catholic Charities.
Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m., April 21, 2018, in Padre Serra Parish Church in Camarillo. Visitation will be in the church from 12:30 until service time. Burial will be at Conejo Mountain Mortuary Park immediately after the service
