Alfredo “Freddie” Aguilar
It is with great sadness that our loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on August 8, 2009. Alfredo or “Freddie” Aguilar as he was known passed away unexpectedly.
Alfredo Aguilar was born on November 11, 1938. He was a life-long resident of Moorpark for 68 years. He met his grammar school sweetheart, Angela “Carmen” Davalos, and married at the young age of 17. They enjoyed 53 wonderful years together. He worked for Moorpark Farms as a foreman, went on to S&K Ranch/Egg City as a supervisor.
When Freddie wasn’t working or fixing things around the house, he enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, watching wrestling, playing cards and going to roller derby games. He loved being surrounded by family, going to parties and listening to music.
Alfredo is survived by his loving wife, Angela “Carmen” Aguilar; five children, and their extended families. Debbie Nava (Robert), Alfredo Aguilar Jr. (Maureen), Donna Aguilar, Steven Aguilar (Marcella), and Dean Aguilar. Grandchildren include: Angela Sonderegger, Robert Nava Jr., Angela Fregoso Cordero, Steven Jr. Aguilar, Yolanda Aguilar, Jessica Barrera, Sheree Santiago, Kevin Aguilar, Krystal Aguilar, Marissa Aguilar, Karina Aguilar, Isaiah Aguilar, and four great-grandchildren: Daniel Nava, Driana Martinez, Anyssa Barrera and Kristine Aguilar. He also leaves behind a beloved brother, Tony Aguilar, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
We will all miss you deeply, but we are comforted in knowing you are resting in peace and will forever carry your love in our hearts.
