She has been reunited in heaven with her late husband Stanley Joseph Mars. A devoted mom and grandmother, a devout Catholic; she was very committed to her faith. She leaves behind the following: Sons' Michael (Patti), granddaughters Mary and Elizabeth, Larry (Amelia), grand children Janessa, Rachel, Charmaine, Michelle, Miranda, Christopher, Emily, Kenny, Ryan, and Brandon. Adele graduated from Saint Mary of Perpetual Help High School in Chicago, Illinois, in1946. She attended classes at Norte Dame and received a B.A. in music from the University of DePaul in Chicago, Illinois. She was a dance instructor and taught dancing classes at her studio. At her studio, she taught and met her husband, Stanley. They fell in love, and were married on December 1, 1956. They started a family and moved to Sacramento due to Stan's work as an aerospace engineer. She was a classically trained opera singer and performed at church, the Sacramento local television station and several women's chorus groups, while being a full time mom. The family moved to Simi Valley California where she was a school substitute teacher for over 20 years. She continued singing in a women's chorus group called the Marionettes and was the Canter at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Adele loved to travel and she explored Cuba, Mexico, Israel and many countries in Europe.
After retiring, she and Stan moved to Moorpark, California where she enjoyed singing and playing the piano at senior centers. She was also a care giver for her late husband. She will be missed but we will all remember her kindness and love she spread throughout everyone she knew.
She is now in peace with the Lord God and we celebrate her life and legacy.
