Born January 12, 1987, Adam Jason Solis was called home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2019.
He is preceded in death by grandmother Elsie Ulmer, grandfather Richard Solis, and grandfather Jesus Garcia. He is survived by parents Richard and Terry Solis, grandmother Antonia Garcia, and his pride and joy Adam Jr. Adam also leaves behind sister DeAnna (Oscar), brothers Richard and Joshua, many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces. We all will dearly miss him.
Adam was a loving father and cherished the time spent with his son. Adam was a sports fanatic and always supported and cheered for his favorite team, the Detroit Lions.
As a child, Adam loved to joke around and prank his family. He kept this sense of humor and fun into his adulthood, showing his love through humor. Adam had a heart of gold and put this care for others into action by serving as an usher at Praise Chapel Revival.
Services will be held at Perez Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road, Camarillo. The Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, July 1, from 6-9 p.m., and the Praise Service will be held Tuesday, July 2, at 10 a.m. Final interment will be held at Santa Clara Cemetery Saturday July 6, at 10am.
The Solis family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has loved Adam and been part of his life and put their "hands to the plow" to provide love, kindness and support to the family during their grief.
1 Corinthians 15:51–57
Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
